MIDWIFERY CARE
Midwifery care is centered on honoring the process of natural birth. When the natural process is encouraged, fewer complications result. A midwife works closely with you to nurture your physical and emotional well- being throughout the childbearing cycle. This includes individualized education, emotional support and friendship, prenatal care, continuous care throughout labor and delivery, and postpartum care for both you and your baby.
Because of the close relationship with her clients, a midwife knows how to give the personal care that will meet your individual needs. Midwifery care is a personal experience not only for you but for the entire family. The true value of a midwife is not just the clinical things she can offer, but whom she becomes to you during this special time in your life. She will become your friend, advisor, and encourager.
